since i have loved all of the shows you recommended i thought i'd dice it up a little - This is Pop for docu series. Reboot, on hulu, it's doing a thing for me. Also - big favorite: Tuca & Bertie. And the modern love series on amazon prime. One Mississippi, the tig series. And reservation dogs, if you haven't gone there give it two episodes and you'll be in.

I agree with Back To Life! (Always have to check I’ve got the right title as I get it confused with the Ricky Gervais grief thing which I’ve not seen and never fancy.) Also Somebody Somewhere (hopefully still on Now/Sky whatever) if you’ve not seen it and strange/sad Somewhere Boy which they’ve been showing on C4 this week. I am very keen on a half-hour show.

The Newsreader is just SUBLIME! It’s everything you need!! Subtle and brilliant and the lead actress Anna Torv (from Mindhunter) is bloody divine in it. What is it with Aussie actresses?!

I loved Better Things, Pamela Adlon is a underrated genius + it gets better as the seasons progress. Might I suggest Breeders (with the excellent Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard), this is another great (ostensibly) 'parenting' show like aforementioned Better Things that just doesn't get the air time it deserves. Also v much enjoyed Mo, and looking fwd to Ramy new season x
